Akrobata Windsurf and Kitesurf Centre is located in the Town of Omiš at the river mouth of Cetina River. Beautiful sand beach is a part of coulissethat the river created on its path to the sea and makes it one of the most beautiful, extraordinary and unique parts of the Adriatic Coast.

Surf centre is situated in the centre of the beach in Camp “Galeb”. Ideal location, turquoise sea and wind are irresistible and invite you to join them in their game. A constant thermal wind blows from the right side during the entire summer. Such wind is formed by the canyon of the Cetina River and creates conditions that are ideal for all levels. Beginners can be comfortably introduced to these fantastic watersports and advanced surfers can safely improve their skills.

Conditions are better suited for beginners in the mornings. Moderate wind and the fact that sandy seabed is shallow enough to stand even 400m from the shore, make this spot perfect place for first windsurfing and kitesurfing steps. In the afternoon wind is gradually blowing stronger, so more experienced surfers are able to show off their skills. Should a surfer fall, he/she is only a quick beach start away from hoping back on the board. Wind drops in the evenings, so you are welcome to enjoy magnificent sunset together with us and chill out music.

Nature around Omiš offers almost limitless possibilities to all that are adventurous in their spirit and look for more than just a beach for their vacation. Even if the wind falls, nobody will be withheld for adrenalin doses. Besides windsurfing, kitesurfing and kayak that we offer at our Akrobata centre, you can also try scuba diving, rock climbing, rafting, mountain bike, paraglide or horseback riding. At the end of every tiring day you can recharge your batteries at many of the excellent restaurant that offer delicious local specialties.
